In an industry with ever-increasing demand for shorter turnaround times, this gave us an enormous advantage. It meant we could cut printing times without compromising on our versatility or high quality.
But with printing capacity greatly increased it was clear we needed more bindery capacity too! So the directors put their heads together and focused on the improvement of flow throughout the entire production process.
Their solution was simple. Invest and improve.
So over the following months, we bought an additional Muller Martini stitching-line, a Heidelberg Stahl folder, an MBO folder and Wohlenberg guillotine.
We’ve optimised our warehouse to accommodate these new additions too. The folders and a guillotine now sit in close proximity to the three presses, with the stitching-line at home in the bindery.
Since the arrival of our new equipment, our efficiency and turnaround times have been boosted and the overall process streamlined, just in time for the busy period!
